Your Exact Online documents as files in Windows Explorer
Open the documents held in Exact Online and 29 other platforms in Explorer, Word, Excel or your PDF reader. Nothing to download first, nothing to sync, nothing to migrate.
prestamos serviços a mais de 20000 empresas
- Online only: listed in Explorer, fetched when you open it, no disk space.
- Kept on this device: you opened it or marked it to keep, so it also works without internet.
Each app is a folder and each company a subfolder. A document is fetched the moment you open it.
O Exact Online é um software na nuvem para contabilidade e ERP. Na Holanda, o Exact Online inclui também um software de gestão de salários online. É utilizado por cerca de 400 000 empresas.
Work with your Exact Online documents the way you work with any file
- Every document of Exact Online appears as a file in Windows Explorer, in a folder per company and per kind of document.
- No disk space is used until you open a file; a folder with ten thousand invoices takes none.
- Open a file in Word, Excel, your PDF reader or any other program, print it, or drag it into an email.
- Search by name in Explorer across every Exact Online company at once.
- Documents stay in Exact Online; your rights there are your rights in Explorer, and every fetch is an ordinary Exact Online request.
- Save a changed file or drop a new one into the folder and it lands in Exact Online.
- Also in your web browser on a Mac, a tablet or a shared PC, through the file browser in Invantive Cloud.
- Works with your existing Exact Online sign-in; Invantive Drive keeps no password of its own.
- The same folder holds your other platforms too: 29 other apps show their documents in Invantive Drive.
How Invantive Drive works
Install Invantive Drive on Windows and sign in with your Invantive Cloud account. A folder named Invantive Drive appears in Explorer with one folder per app, so Exact Online becomes a folder with a subfolder per company and per kind of document. Explorer lists the names, dates and sizes; the content of a document is fetched from Exact Online the moment you open it, and leaves no copy behind unless you choose to keep it offline. A cloud icon marks a file that is online only, a green check mark one that is kept on this device.
Where your Exact Online documents stay
In Exact Online. Invantive Drive shows them and does not copy or move them. You sign in with your own Exact Online account and see the companies and documents you may see there. Only a file you open is fetched, and only a file you change is sent back, and only to an app that accepts uploads. Every fetch counts as a normal request to Exact Online, visible per connection in the Invantive Drive window.
Not on Windows?
The file browser in Invantive Cloud shows the same Exact Online folders and files in your web browser, on a Mac, a tablet or a shared PC: browse, preview and download. Adding and renaming files from the browser is on its way.
